Who is responsible and how to contact us
ESPD School is operated by ESPD – EXPERIENCED & QUALIFIED TUTORS LTD, company number 13843172. The registered office is 65 Cranbrook Road, Ilford, England, IG1 4PG. The company was previously named ESPD LIMITED and ESPD – EXPERT ONLINE TUTORS LTD.
This notice concerns the ESPD School website at espd.school and enquiries submitted through it. For a privacy question or request, email hello@espd.school.
Information collected by the enquiry form
- Your name and email address, which are required to submit the form.
- Your preferred session format and selected programme or enquiry topic.
- Any learning goals or other information you choose to enter in the notes field.
- An enquiry reference and the date the record is stored.
The form does not request payment-card details, identity documents or uploads. Please avoid including medical information, safeguarding details, passwords or unnecessary identifying information about a child. A general description of the support needed is enough for an initial enquiry.
Why information is used
The website stores your enquiry for the ESPD team to review your request for tutoring or admissions support. Submitting the form does not confirm a lesson booking. The current form saves the enquiry in WordPress; it does not send an automatic email or add your details to a marketing list.
Security checks help reject invalid or excessive submissions and avoid duplicate records. They do not assess a student’s ability or decide admission to a school or university. The lawful basis for processing has not yet been specified in this notice; this is listed under details awaiting confirmation.
Storage, access and hosting
Enquiries are stored as private records in the website’s WordPress database. The enquiry feature restricts access to accounts with the required administrative management permission. It does not publish the records in site searches or through its public API.
The website is hosted by Hawk Host. Administrative permissions do not, by themselves, describe who can access hosting systems or backups. The list of authorised people and the selected hosting, email and backup arrangements have not yet been fully documented in this notice.
Hawk Host’s published network includes locations in several countries. The location used for this website, backup locations and any applicable international-transfer arrangements remain to be confirmed.
How long information is kept
ESPD’s operator has stated a retention period of three to five years for enquiry information. The starting point for this period and the criteria for choosing three rather than five years have not yet been specified. The current enquiry feature has no scheduled automatic deletion of these records. Contact hello@espd.school to ask about a particular record or make a deletion request; the applicable rights and exceptions are explained below.
The form separately uses a temporary security counter derived from an IP address, with an expiry setting of 15 minutes, and a duplicate-submission identifier with an expiry setting of one day. These settings do not delete your enquiry or determine how long hosting logs and backups are kept.
External resources and cookies
The website’s current templates request fonts from Google Fonts and a styling script from cdn.tailwindcss.com. Loading them connects your browser to those services and involves technical connection information such as your IP address. Following a link to an external guidance page takes you to that provider’s website.
A full inventory of visitor cookies, server logs and any analytics, advertising, security or CDN services has not yet been completed. This notice therefore does not claim that the website uses no cookies or no tracking. See the details awaiting confirmation for the remaining work.
Children and parents
ESPD’s guidance includes topics used by school-age learners. If you are a child and are unsure what to share, ask a parent or carer to help with your enquiry. Parents and carers should share only what is needed for the initial discussion.
This notice covers website enquiries. It does not describe lesson recordings, student records or payment processing. Please ask ESPD how any additional information will be handled before sharing it for a subsequent service.
Your information rights and complaints
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights to access your information, correct it, ask for erasure, restrict its use, object to certain processing or receive data in a portable form. Where processing relies on consent, that consent can be withdrawn. These rights have conditions and exceptions; erasure is not automatic in every case.
For a request or complaint, email hello@espd.school with enough information to identify the enquiry, such as its reference, and explain what you need. Avoid sending identity documents unless an appropriate identity check is explained.
The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) provides guidance on individual rights and making a data protection complaint, including raising an unresolved concern with the UK regulator.
Common questions
Does sending the form book a lesson?
No. It saves an enquiry for the ESPD team to review. The success message provides an enquiry reference rather than a confirmed lesson booking.
Should I include medical details or documents about my child?
Please do not include these in the initial website enquiry. Describe the support you are looking for in general terms and ask ESPD about an appropriate route if further information is needed.
Where can I ask about my data?
Email hello@espd.school. Include the enquiry reference if you have it and explain the question or request. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.
Details awaiting confirmation
This version makes the available information public, but it is not yet a complete account of all processing arrangements. The following details remain outstanding:
- The lawful basis for each processing purpose, including any legitimate interests relied on.
- When the three-to-five-year retention period begins, the criteria for its length, and deletion arrangements for records and backups.
- The people or roles with access, the email provider, hosting and backup locations, and any relevant international-transfer safeguards.
- The complete cookie and service inventory, handling of direct enquiries from children, and the detailed procedure for information-rights requests and complaints.
